It’s a fact: many women are destined to develop breasts so large they can cause nothing but discomfort. Back pain, neck pain and rashes under the breasts are common complaints, but women with arthritis of the spine or shoulders can suffer significantly. Breast reduction can help these problems.

The surgeon makes the incisions around the areola (nipple), then vertically down the breast, and in the crease beneath. The nipple and areola (nipple) are repositioned to a higher point on the breast, and excess tissue and skin are removed. The patient can return home the same day and a support bra is worn for three weeks.
